More about Guayusa with Roses Tea Infusion
A blend infusion made with the leaves of Ilex guayusa, commonly used by the native peoples of the Napo province, and Rose petals, from the Ecuadorian Mountain region. Both material sources are naturally dried and packed into cardboard tubes, coated on the inside with sterilized aluminum.
Ilex guayusa, popularly known as simply Guayusa, is a plant that has been the protagonist of certain folk tales that compose the culture of native peoples across Central and South America, having become a synonym of enhanced focus and energy. It is a caffeinated species, and can be a natural source of components that may enhance focus and cognitive energy, while also being rich in theanine, theobromine, and polyphenal antioxidants. Studies have proven Guayusa to be a natural stimulant, promoting lower rates of nervous, shaky behavior associated with excessive caffeine.
The Rosa genus is filled with countless varieties of beauty and fragrance. Petals have been commonly used in baths and the flowers are even associated with different Gods and Goddesses across several cultures across the globe. A common factor among most roses is the presence of vitamin C and anti-inflammatory agents in their components, in addition to being traditionally used in natural medicine for the treatment of colds, PMS, sore throats, digestive issues, and to uplift spirits and help with menopause symptoms.
This infusion is made purely with leaves/petals from both described plants, meaning that no other substances or ingredients are added to the formula.
