A Connection to the Sacred Harpy

The name Tete Pawã translates to “Harpy” in the Pano indigenous language, a reference to the largest bird of prey in the region, which is revered as a sacred and majestic being. In Huni Kuin mythology, the Harpy is an enchanted creature created by Yuxibu, the great spirit. This tepi not only serves a functional purpose but also connects the user to the spiritual and cultural traditions of the Amazon.
